Renaissance Creative PR and III Forks team up for one of the restaurant's most successful openings

Jacksonville, Fla. - III Forks Steakhouse celebrated its Jacksonville, Fla. debut with one of the most successful openings in the highly acclaimed brand's history.

Beginning with a soft opening on Nov. 17 and followed by three nights of VIP receptions in December, the award-winning restaurant was sold out for New Years Eve and on its way to becoming one of Northeast Florida?s favorite fine dining establishments.

Renaissance Creative provided the PR firepower for the opening of III Forks with a comprehensive campaign that utilized traditional PR, email blasts, online video, media relations, special event savvy and social media to introduce this signature steakhouse to the Jacksonville market.

During the three days of VIP receptions, the restaurant played host to the press, local celebrities, influential bloggers and area movers and shakers, with each night highlighting different community groups, such as the Charity, Hospitality & Arts Night.

On Community Leader and Government Night, the Honorable Mayor John Peyton attended, as did football star Maurice Jones-Drew, and they along with others expressed their reactions to the new restaurant on camera, providing video clips that were posted to the III Fork's Facebook fan page (over 400 and counting) Twitter account and You Tube channel.

III Forks started in Dallas, Texas and soon branched out to two other locations in Houston and Austin. This premier steakhouse then ventured to Florida, establishing restaurants in Palm Beach Gardens and Boca Raton, with its Jacksonville location in Tapestry Park on the Southside becoming the restaurant's newest venue.

III Forks brings a whole new level of fine dining in North Florida, from spectacular interiors with fire-infused walls, to an outdoor patio area with sparkling fountains, plasma TVs, and huge concrete fire table, to the glass enclosed wine room housing hundreds of hand-picked wines. The lush décor of III Forks is complemented by impeccable service and a menu, which features only USDA Prime Grade Beef, a distinction held by only a handful of steakhouses in the country.

The opening of III Forks garnered outstanding media coverage and generated positive community buzz – and it was all for a good cause as the public relations and media outreach coordinated by Renaissance helped raise $5,000 for Sulzbacher Center, North Florida's biggest provider of services to the homeless.

Parent company Consolidated Restaurant Operations (CRO) Vice President of Marketing Bill Watson, proclaimed it one of the CRO's most successful openings ever and III Forks Jacksonville Proprietor/General Manager Curtis Osmond, continues to see the popularity of the restaurant rise, as it becomes the city's gold standard for fine dining.

It's also fast becoming the place to sip and be seen during the complimentary wine tastings on Monday nights and well as Thursday Ladies Nights.

Renaissance Creative offers comprehensive marketing, advertising, public relations, and web design and brand development. Since 1996, the highly successful company has won over 75 awards for its outstanding creative and marketing communications.
